Problem: Can receive emails, but when Sending other side doesn’t receive it. it was working fine few days ago.

Mail Program: Outlook 2007/2003

Server OS : Windows 2003

Client OS: Mostly Windows XP(few 2000)

Any ideas?


(tried restaring the server, checked cable connections)

a lot of system admins stop you from sending mails when ur over ur mail box allowance. We'de need more details about the mail server setup to help more

Sending fails from all the systems.

Actually this a small company (around 11 system), they don’t have a permanent administrator. Suddenly this problem occurred few days ago, the server was not touched. Cpanel mail setting has not been changed either.
Could it be Cpanel settings that need adjustments or is it the local server?

Problem solved, their ISP had changed its email port setting without any notifications.
