Okay one question, should I get a Asus M4A79 which will allow me to unlovk my other cores on My AMD 550 BE or get a Quadcore 955BE? I want to run games like DMC4, RE5, and GTA IV? I have a XFX 4890 and a Antec cooler with 4 120mm Fans. My current board is a M3A79-VM. Is the upgrade worth it???

Are you sure that you can unlock the other core of your 550 with the mobo that you say? Remember that only a few games use the 4 cores (GTA IV), the others use 2 or 3 cores.

never count on the other cores being functional. They are disabled for a reason. I would try overclocking the current cpu first; if that doesnt suit your needs, then think about cpu upgrade.

Yeah, I did some research and I decided to just upgrade my CPU and my MOBO. I got a Asus Crosshair III Formula with a AMD Phenom II 955 :bounce: Thanks for the advice!!
