I know people have limited budgets.
I also know people seem to lack the ability to save enough money to get a $300-500 computer that would obliterate what they have.

And it's driving me crazy!!!

Let go of the AGP and Pentium 4 based pcs people!
Instead of spending $100 on a new component that you won't be able to fully use just save some more money and get a new comp!
Have some patience or something!

All these old Pentium 4s are doing is consuming tons of energy and offering atrocious performance.
Upgrading these ancient systems is just flogging a dead horse.

Thank you for reading my rant. :p

I suggest Yoga, alcohol, running, or whatever else you can think of to help you relax. Worrying about such things isn't worth it.

I agree, lets form a mob and gather these people for a cleansing, they are an afront to all pc users.

They should burn as hot as so many of those P4's did.

+1.

But what if people really, actually don't have enough money? I wouldn't upgrade a system if it runs great and still works for what I do. THats just my opinion

That isn't the part I'm talking about I understand that situation. I mean when they want to upgrade a bunch of stuff when they can save a little more and replace the whole rig.

Example: If they can save up the money to buy a $100 AGP video card then they can wait a while longer and save up the other $200 and get an entirely new computer instead.
