New animation pc help

I am building a new PC and I wanted to know if this is more than enough for a highend workstation.

I might want to change out my hard drives, one for just my os and apps and the other for storage.
I am also wondering if liquid cooling or fan cooling would be good choice for the cooling of the pc.
This was a total of 2750 for this rig without the cooling unit. I compared this to a lot of companies out there and they charge a lot for a rig similar to this.

Thanks for the fast response. This is just my first list so there will be revision hopefully getting the cost down too.

Forgot to mention that I was thinking of running vista 64 bit then I saw windows 7, I am running xp pro since I couldn't make the change to vista.

I will be ordering from Newegg unless I find the parts cheaper some other place.

Man.. didn't even think about that, thanks for the heads up on the quadro card. What would you suggest if my budget would be $3,000?

That is a nice sound card. I will do more research on that.

I will look around for memory, looks like there are more options when buying 2 6GB kit.

For the processor that would definitely help out with the motherboard combo.
