Pull amd xp 2000 install amd cpu xp 2600 on biostar m7vig pro-d

I'm going to pull a working AMD XP 2000 processor and install a good AMD XP 2600 processor. On a working Biostar M7VIG Pro-D motherboard. Any thing I have to change before I do this? Like Bios. in setup, jumpers on board and etc? Thank You! For my Grand-Son...

Are the CPU sockets the same? Check here for example http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CPU_socket

Since you are doing what you are, you might as well reseat all you power supply connectors, and reseat your RAM as well, but make sure your grounded!
