There are many things that can cause a PC to shut down. There are a number of things you can check if you are PC savvy. I'd run Memtest86+ from a floppy, CD or flash drive first to see if there are memory issues. Even if you're PC savvy it's very difficult to diagnose these types of shut down problems.
