With the kind of specs you have in your system and to make sure that your system will have an ample wattage supply as the capacitors of the psu ages due to many years of use, you'll need at least 500 watt psu. Since your tight on budget, these might interest you.

Nice thanks! what one you recommend for my computer? and for the graphics card can you link me some?? and will those fit? also does power supply improve performance? thanks a bunch i had no idea of what to buy

The link to specs doesn't work.

But unless you have a 30" monitor, why did you buy a 2 GB card? I think a better decision would have been to buy an 896 MB card and put the rest toward a better PSU. Unless you find a great deal on sale, I do not think you will find what I would call an adequate PSU for $50.

If you are willing to go to $60 - $80 you have lot of good choices: Antec, Corsair, Seasonic.

Hey Dude the link to your system you posted is broken, re-post it so we could see the detailed specs then we'll start from there. :)

Link is ok now.

So, you changed your mind and wanna buy a 60-80 dollar PSU instead?
And you have a 25 inch monitor, and based from the current specs of your
system I highly recommend this:

Not only its a P80 certified but, its a branded one and cheap too and more than
enough for your system and computing needs that will surely last for many many
years of long use.

nice! i think i will order this. will this improve my computers performance as well? By that i mean will it be faster?

Reply to nestorb_41

Do you have you have one that already has the discount not the mail in rebate?

Reply to nestorb_41

PSUs will not make your computer faster. It will however help to ensure that your computer runs reliably.
