So instead of showing my processors, is now reads as follows:

I can see them in device manager, but thats it. I have a cpu monitor(widget), and it obviously is only using one, becauce ANY file/program I open, it goes off the chart.
So after some snooping, I find that the processor driver is disabled. Does anyone know how to remedy this? I DID disable some services, but nothing dependent.
Thanks in advance.

update your bios, then run a repair on windows with your vista disk.

So when you go into your task manager under performance, it only shows one graph? Or 4 graphs?

Ok peeps. Now i'm REALLY confused. I just rebooted my system, and now its showing all 4. All working within limits. BUT, my desk top has changed...(Oh, and Kaspersky quit on me. Had to run repair) I was on Dell chat support last night, and he checked my bois and system and found nothing. But honestly, all he looked for was my crash dump, I tried to tell about al lthe error codes, and he tried to hand me off to PAY-PER Support. Is there a decent online scanner for like software conflicts maybe? Or does this sound viral to anyone? And hey, thanks a bunch for all of your input. This is a great forum! :)
