Hello my Overclock Experts:

HELP ME GET A COOLER THAT PERFORMS JUST LIKE THE D14 OR BETTER IN THE 100$ RANGE.

I am building a gaming machine and i need some Suggestions on what CPU Cooler buy.

I Ordered the Corsair Vengeance Blue 16GB Kit and the ASRock P67 Extreme4 so far. I will be buying the Intel i5 2500k for gaming and im going to push it to at least 5ghz stable!

I was going to buy the Noctua D14 but by the time i bought the RAM is was too late , these RAM are TALL and cant fit under the D14 unless u trim your Ram and i dont want that.

I Saw the Noctua C14 and the only way to fit this RAM under it is removing the FAN on the bottom of the Radiator, i want Maximun Performance without removing anything. If i do that it'll be something like this:

I used Xigmatek coolers on some i5 750's that I built. For the first one I just raised the fan up a few MM to clear the tall ram. For the second one I put the fan on the other side of the cooler, pulling air through the cooler rather than pushing it. This one ran cooler than the one with the fan mounted as a pusher.

For high performance coolers you need to check frostytech.com and see what they think is best.
