2 PCI-E Connectors for 6870? :O

Alright mate!

I did the same thing, overlooked the PSU and had to halt my pc build. My advice would be to buy a new PSU with higher wattage for a start necause I think the ATI recommendation is 750w. I have the same card and it uses abit more juice than some older cards like my old 5770.

he could sell the 6870 and get a 6850 then overclock it to a 6870's power . 6850's reach high clock speeds

He can use a PCIe - Molex adapter and draw power from 4pin Molex Connectors.

Just get a PCIe - molex adapter...simple, cheap and easy....


WOW.... you guys recommended getting a new PSU or selling the 6870 for a 6850 as a fix...
