I've got a question....

I have over time simply run out of space on my present setup. I saw a great sale on a 1TB drive and jumped on it.

My current set up...

RAID 0

Two Drives

which has worked fine for a while now.

That's how I originally meant to set this system up.

Well now with this third drive I can't get the system to recognize the 3rd drive.

I don't want to add the 3rd drive to array, I'd just like to have it there for storage.

Is that not the best idea?

Should I just save my important files and start over with all three in an array?

Did you partition and format the drive? At what level is the drive not recognized (BIOS, Device Manager, Drive Manager)?

Try walking through this: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/265764-32-guide-insta... , titled "If you installed a new disk but the system can't see it."
