gts240= crap for gaming
3GB RAM too litle and utterly useless to have 64 bit OS with 3 GB RAM
500 GB HDD a bit on a low side but might be OK if You do not need lot of storage space depending which one is it.

3Gb is not too little. Admittedly not as good as 6Gb, but it'll game aright.

The GPU is holding it back. Much better to build your own: chuck the i7 920 in a P6T motherboard with 4870 (1Gb) or a GTX260 (minimum) and you'll have a much better rig.
