Computer memory compatibility

Hello My HP m7060n usesPC2-3200 memory. A recommended replacement is -5300. Is that better or works just the same?

It's faster, but only if your motherboard chipset runs it at the faster speed. Otherwise it will run it at pc2-3200 speed. Get the cheaper of the two.
