would this setup be ok for light gaming like red alert3 and which would be a better video card? and lastly would a case with a 500watts psu run the video card an would the HIS ATI Radeon HD4670's cooler fan block some ports on the mobo?


MOBO: Asus P5KPL-AM SE iG31
Processor: Intel core 2 duo E7400
Video card: can't decide on HIS ATI Radeon HD4670 or Inno3d GF9500GT
RAM: 2gb DDR2

its impossible to give a meaningful answer without knowing the resolution of your monitor .
Which version of windows you use will make a difference too

Just looking from the options that you have given, the clear winner is the HD 4670...

windows i would run would be a windows xp but i plan on getting a windows 7 if this setup could run it. as for the LCD resolution, this is it 1360 x 768

They work well

Using xp , I have an e7300 @ 3.33 GHz , 2 gig of ram , a g33 mb , and a 4850 . On my 1440 x 900 monitor crysis is perfectly playable on high . Around 35 fps

Your resolution is lower so all should be good with a 4670 , but if you can afford it a 4830/4850/4770 would be better

thanks! couldnt get more budget for my desktop, was already pushing the limit by getting the 4670 thanks for the answers guys
