hi friends,
this is my first post.

i m gonna make a pc mainly for 3d apps so pls. help me out.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: August 15

BUDGET RANGE: US$750-800
note: can be streched to $900

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: 3d apps(3d max, zbrush, vue), games(cod 5, crysis, bioshock), video editing.

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: every thing needed.

PARTS PREFERENCES: nice looking cpu tower with full fuctionality on front panel.

OVERCLOCKING: Yes

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Yes

MONITOR RESOLUTION: full HD

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: i stay in a area where temp. rises upto 44*C :fou: , so, a quiet and cool pc is needed.

mac os x can even be consider

You could also purchase an aftermarket cooler for the cpu in order to overclock the cpu...with this build, you would be able to do crossfire if you felt that the sole 4890 isnt enough for you...

well im not too familiar with Quadro cards so I wouldnt know which one to recommend...however I have heard that some people soft mod their (cheaper) Geforce cards in order for it to work as a more expensive Quadro card
