Hello recently over the past week ive been getting random blue screens of death the most common is the 0x0000008E i know that is a ram problem but whilest am playing company of heroes i some times get wavy black lines jerking about my screen and i was told thats when your gfx card overhearts. Wondering if anyone could help me?

Q6600 @ 2.70
8800GT 512mb
2gb DDr3 corsair ram

65c on an 8800GT is nothing to get concerned about, check that HSF's are not coming loose on CPU and GPU (reseating and regreasing wouldn't hurt) check PSU state and connections.

Have you tried simply putting your CPU back to default clock speed?

Run some stability tests. Rum Mem test to see if your ram passes. Run Prim 95 for stability, and then if it's fine try stressing the system with both prime and furmark at the same time.
