how do you connect a pc,using a wired (cable ) connection to a wireless router without losing the wireless connection to a wireless laptop , or in other words , how do i connect my pc which is not wireless and a laptop which is wireless to the same router , whenever i connect the the router to the modem the wireless laptop gets an internet connect but the p.c does not, i have to disconnect the router from the modem and plug my p.c directly to the modem to get a connection therefore losing my wireless signal .. please help ... my son is going nuts

You must have a configuration problem with your PC. Connect everything back up, and open up a Command Prompt on the desktop and type these two lines:

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

That should reset your IP address to use the router.
