I have a Gigabyte ep35-ds3l motherboard and I am running G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231145.

I was looking at cpuz (screen shot provided below)

and it said my memory was running at pc2-6400?

Shouldn't be running at pc2-8000?

If so how can I fix it? Tried tweaking with the bios with no avail.

hunter315: Thanks for the info. When I looked at the timings and voltage in the bios they seemed to be at the manufactured specs ie 5-5-5-15 and 2.1V. What would I change? My processor is the e8400 which has a FSB of 1333mhz I believe.

I have overclocked before but have since restored it to factory settings due to no serious improvements, mostly due to my dated 8800gt.
