instead of getting 2GB more ram, get 4GB more (total 6)
DDR2 prices are still low so you might as well, in the future if you need more memory look at DDR prices, they are high, same thing will happen to DDR2 sooner or later
i was thinking of getting 4 gigs of ddr2 or 3 gigs of ddr3 but ill take everything under consideration i checked on the mobo site and it gave me a list of suppported memory so i was picking from there ok ill add a 6gb instead of 2x2gb
good choice the 4850 is 120 at tigerdirect i have one and plays everything i wanted it to play gonna get a 2nd one and put it in sli, if u got the money go for the 4890
i am not sure if you guys know about the evga precision tool if you have had is there something like that for the Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD 4870 Video Card 2GB btw i choose that one cause it was in between both the other cards and its 2 gb so is there a tool like that for this card here
ok im actually making some changes im goin to change my mobo maybe to a nforce or if u guys can recommend one under 175 thats good also the ram do most mobo's suppport ddr3
how much is that 4870 graphic card and u dont really need 2gb, id go with a 4890 1gb that would be my choice , and mobo dont know which one suits you but id go with one that supports ddr3.
You guys are over commenting... his questions all could have been asked in like 3 replies
4870/4890 is good enough go with your budget
Your Motherboard DOES NOT support DDR3
If you are running Vista/Xp 32bit get 2GB more RAM, if your running 64bit get 4GB more.
