I'm looking to get a new ATI video card to do 3D rendering and video editing. I think the obvious answer would be an ATI FirePro. I'm looking at the stats of the ATI FirePro v5700 and ATI Radeon HD 4890.

Here are the stats of each:

ATI FirePro v5700

PCI Express 2.0 x16
Stream Processors 320 Stream Processing Units
Memory Size 512MB
3D API
DirectX DirectX 10.1
OpenGL OpenGL 2.1
DisplayPort 2
DVI 1
Digital Resolution 2560 x 1600
System Requirements 350-Watt power supply or greater (assumes fully loaded system)

ATI Radeon HD 4890

Interface PCI Express 2.0 x16
Core Clock 850MHz
Stream Processors 800 Stream Processing Units
Memory Clock 3900 MHz ( 975 MHz DDR5 )
Memory Size 1GB
Memory Interface 256-bit
Memory Type GDDR5
3D API
DirectX DirectX 10.1
HDMI 1 (via Adapter)
DVI 2
TV-Out HDTV / S-Video / Composite Out
RAMDAC 400 MHz
Max Resolution 2560 x 1600

I think I'm going to go with the ATI FirePro but I just want some other opinions. Thanks!
