Wep key

hi i need help as well and dont nothing about thi stuff.... i have a wireless connection for my lap top and now i bought a ps3 and its asking for a wep key to make the ps 3 wireless and i cant find a wep key anywhere on the boxes.. so how can i get one to make the ps 3 wireless?? right now we are using the cord thingy and stinks pluging the cord thing in and out of the laptop and ps 3.. please help thanks
