I know there has to be some simple way to do this I bought two new system fans one for the back and one for the front. I got the 80mm in the front and it uses 3 pin so that's fine and it also came with a molex adapter, but I also bought a 120mm for the back of my computer. I've got one 4 pin and one 3 pin on my mb but my CPU fan uses the 4pin so I don't know how to hook up the new 120mm 4pin fan I just bought? I used the molex adapter for the 80mm fan in the front so I still have a 3 pin available but I don't know how to get the 4 pin fan to work on that?

Get an adapter; frys sells them for $2-4. And next time do your homework before ordering. Use newegg or other online venders for pictures of the item you're ordering and be sure it works with your ps or motherboard.

4 pin will work on a 3 pin header. Plug it in, it should only fit one way.
