Hi

I intend to upgrade my PC which is now about 4-5 years old and would really benefit from some advice on what components to purchase. I will be keeping my hard drives but reformatting my C drive so effectively starting off with a new machine. I am looking at a budget of around £200 for the upgrade and the machine will be running the following applications:

Photo Editor - Adobe Photo Elements 6
Office - Office 2007
Games - World of Warcraft, Chessmaster
Heavy Internet Use
Mapping - Memory Map
File Conversion - ConvertXtoDVD, etc

As you can maybe tell from the above my main uses of the PC will be -photo editing, office work, music and video playback, conversion of video files, game playing and the internet.

My current spec is:
Case - Antec SLK3700
Power Supply - Antec SL350P
Motherboard - AbitAV8 Rocket Boy
Graphics Card - ATI Radeon9550 256MB
Sound Card - none
Processor - AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Socket 939 2.2Ghz
RAM - 2*512MB DDR400 Crucial, 2*512MB DDR400 Value Select (Corsair)
Hard Drives - Seagate Barracuda 1* ST3250823A, 1* ST 3500630A (IDE)
Optical Drives - 1 X NEC DVD RW ND3550A, 1*LG HL-DT-ST DVD RAM GSA-4120B
Floppy Drive - Generic
Monitor - Samsung Samtron 75E 17" 1280*1024 (Free)
Printer - Epson Stylus Photo 890 (Free)
TV Card - hauppauge WINTV HR100
Speakers - Logitech R20
Keyboard - Dell Quiet Key (Free)
Mouse - Kensington Valu Optical (Free)

As I said I intend to upgrade the system with a number of components for around £200 i.e.

Graphics Card - Sapphire HD 3650 512MB DDR2 Dual DVI TV Out PCI-E http://www.ebuyer.com/product/140617
Power Supply - Arctic Power 500W PSU With PCI-E 2x SATA, 20+4 ATX12V 8pin +12V Connectors http://www.ebuyer.com/product/124922
Motherboard - ASUS P5QL PRO iP43 Socket 775 8 channel audio ATX http://www.ebuyer.com/product/149274
Processor - Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 2.5GHz Socket 775 800FSB 2MB Cache http://www.ebuyer.com/product/148715
Memory - Crucial 4GB (2X2GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 Ballistix Memory CL4 2.0V http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/partspecs.aspx?IMODULE=...

I will be keeping the rest of my components (yes including my very old monitor!) but am looking for advice.

- Do I need to upgrade my power supply or is 350W enough for a system like the above - I have been told that this by Coolermaster may be better than the Arctic Power one http://www.ebuyer.com/product/150596
- What modifications to the above would make for a better value (cheaper or same money but improved machine) PC

Appreciate any advice that anyone can give me

Thankyou

Looks good to me. If you're looking to play newer 3D games though, you might want to shell out for a cheap 4-series ATI card like the HD 4770. I know you don't plan that but it's a suggestion.
