Hey guys, i'm building my new i7 rig and wanted to finalize it and wanted to see what suggestions you might have.

I am currently getting:

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6819115202
CASE: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6811129043
MOBO: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813188051
RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820145236
GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814150387 (getting 2 in SLI)
PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817139009
HDD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6822136283

also getting arctic silver 5, anti static wrist strap (never be too careful) some disk drives, etc..etc..

One of my worries is the motherboard, its a micro but it has the 2-way SLI both at x16, and everything i need nothing more.. which is what i was looking for. being micro shouldnt make it worse or anything for my main full tower rig right? lol.

let me know any suggestions or whatever you might have.

I just see no reason to get a micro board in a full tower case. If you are going to spend the money on an Antec 1200 then get a full size atx board too. Just my opinion.

I would get the OCZ Platinum Low Voltage RAM, and the Antec 300 instead of the 1200. Also, I obviously second jtmoney's advice.

I don't know a whole lot about advantages of the larger boards over the smaller....but one thing is for sure, you'll get better airflow between your cards, especially since you're going SLI.

About the Antec 300, it is a smaller case than the 1200, but if you want to stick with your original motherboard it should have all the space you need (unless you want a massive CPU cooler)

For full tower cases, check out the CoolerMaster HAF 932, I prefer it over the Antec 1200 and it's cheaper.

You can take a look at this config...it might interest you...

Mobo + RAM
EVGA 141-BL-E757-TR LGA + Crucial Ballistix 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1600 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Comb [...] mbo.211866

CASE + PSU -
Antec 900(1200's Small brother...So look wise they are very similar)
And the PSU has enough power for the GTX 275 SLI...

Change the HDD to the newer, faster and more efficient WD Black 640GB or the WD Black 1TB

Dint see a CPU cooler -

Now the reason why I had suggested the case and the RAM, if you read the overview of the RAM, you would know...
It has Blue Blinky LEDs, which would compliment the Blue LEDs of the 900...And as the 900 has a side window, it would look very good...And Crucial RAMs are known for their stablity, high quality stuff...
