Memory voltage is 1.65 and bios has as 1.5

Not sure If I got it right , in the Bios Dram says

voltage of the memory in the bios says 1.5 while the specs of the memory has at 1.65

leave it at 1.5 if it is working properly you can save a couple cents on your energy bill

If it works and passes memtest86+ at stock voltage, run it there.

The mfr expects you to manually increase the 1.5v to 1.65v to achieve the spec. speed and latency timings.

I have a similar situation...my BIOS is at 1.5 and my RAM at 1.7...I get a memory error beep when trying to boot, and tech support claims that fixing this in the BIOS will fix my problem...true?
