Set up RAID without wiping disks?

I'm using a new Gigabyte GA-EP45T-UD3LR with my two old Western Digital disks. These disks were configured with RAID 1 on my old motherboard, and already have XP and all my stuff installed on them. I'd like to use them with RAID 1 on the new motherboard. However, the RAID setup utility wants to wipe the disks before configuring the array. Does anyone know how to put the disks into a RAID 1 array without wiping them first?

Thanks!

Only way I know of is to copy (or 'image') your stuff over to a third drive, then zap 'em back onto the RAID - every RAID BIOS I've ever used 'kills' the drive structures in the process of initializing the RAID...
