so, i have been thinking for some time about giving my system a moderate overclock, at this point their is no cpu bottleneck (if anything its the hard drive, but that seems to be about normal and a decent ssd in on the wishlist for the next chunk of change i have to spend) but I have been thinking of doing it just as an academic exercise if nothing else. my main question is if I might see any significant boost in performance by doing so or if this would simply be to say i did it, and if so can somebody offer a bit of advice as i am a complete NEWB when it comes to doing anything along these lines.

current specs are (everything at stock as of the moment)

I was able to get to a solid 3.7 @ 1.475 volts using amd overdrive, however was unable to figure out how to change voltage in my BIOS so was only able to get to 3.3 without having to redo it everytime i restart my computer. if anyone that has this board could help me figure this out it would be greatly appreciated.

thanx the link, its a very well written guide, and if i could figure out how to change my voltages in BIOS would have been very helpfull. if I could figure out how to post an image here I would show you guys what I have been able to do with AOD, unfortunately, unless I can figure out how to change voltages in my BIOS the best I can do is reset all the values in AOD when i reboot
