Am I correct in assuming that DVD Drive and cd-rom are different? I want to be able to play DVD's as well as run games, but mainly the games if the DVD thing will push me over my budget

do you think a 20$ psu will work as the 100$ ?!!!! of course not this psu is rated at 500w but that doesn't mean that it will be able to push 500w all the time.Don't skimp on the psu bec. it is the most important part in every system

An AM3/DDR3 suggestion :p

Cool i realy appreciate it this setup is great. how does this card stack up against the Geforce GTX 275? i see on the charts its supposed to be better, but it doesnt say ATI anywhere in the title, that doesnt matter does it? Also, is crossfiring like having 2 cards to take advantage of the SLI? i wont need to buy another one in order to get the performance i want will i?
