usually it is suggested just to OC a 920 to the level of a 950. You can also get 2 GTX275's for less than a 295 and get better performance.

I would just get 6 GB, 12 is just overkill. I agree on the 920 and get 2 cards and SLI instead of buying the 295.

Yea they should all work but use 6gb of that OCZ Platinum Ram.

Also Combos:

CASE+PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Comb [...] mbo.208685

that is 80 Plus Silver Certified PSU and its 900w-Saves ya $50

RAM+HDD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Comb [...] mbo.204633

Mobo+PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Comb [...] mbo.209750

and why not get the i7 920 and OC it?

get dual 4890's instead of a single GTX 295, they're over $100 cheaper and perform quite a bit better.

Thanks for advice guys. I'm really new at this. I choose the i7 950 becuase I don't know how to over clock. I choose the GTX 295 becuase I don't know how to work dual GPU's . I guess I read up on it and save me some money. Just don't want to mess anything up.

Also thanks for pointing out those combos

Here's a very good guide to Overclocking the i7

Yeah, deff dont get the 950, the 920 is only a tiny bit slower and you can easily OC it to surpass the 950. A mild OC isn't really hard, and UD4P is a great MB (i got it, along with a 920, WD black harddrive and a modular Corsair PSU) so you seem to know which brands are good and been doing some reasearch, do you really want a GTX295? what are you using it for and what screen resoulution? a 4890 is a great card.
Yeah, so the 950 is a waste imo, your paying 300$ more for like 300mhz more lol, not worth it, even if you don't ever OC.

Hope this helps
