In my home, we own since years Sympatico's modem SpeedStream 6520 and we're renting it for about 10$ monthly. We are looking forth to replace it (return it to Bell and buy a new one), but we do not know which one specifically. I have seen the "TRENDnet Wireless N Router (TEW-652BRP)" at BestBuy today, and I thought that maybe that one would do.
We have three computers at home and we need something decent and at a good prize (that is, 100 CAN $ or less).

Routers are pretty much interchangeable -- they often share the same chipsets for a start.
Just make sure you get the right spec (for ADSL or for Cable).
Then your choice is down to premium brands like Linksys, Netgear, D-Link -- or the no-name models.
I've used equipment from both types and they all work -- the difference is in the support you can expect.
