My only sticking point is the RAM. Currently, the specs are: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit AMD Phenom II X4 945 Sapphire HD 5850 1TB Hard Drive 750w Power Supply Since I want this PC to play games for 3 years, how much RAM should I put in? For gaming, there is no real benefit in more than 3GB's of RAM, so 4GB (2x2GB) gives you dual channel memory and will be effective. I run 8gb RAM, but I do a lot of VM stuff for work as well. However, Windows 7 does a great job of caching most of my 8gb RAM. It was worth the upgrade, imo. Can't find your answer ? Ask !
