Can you reword the post? What you posted does not make sense. Deleted files on what? Talking about an mp3 player? They don't have boot directories. Explain what you did and what is going on?
Do you just have the MP3 player attached while booting and your PC it not turning on? Unplug it and boot.
I deleted fills on mp3 and now I get i o device errors it says boot directory is missing. Can't open or put anything on it. Is there any hope. Lee
I deleted fills on mp3. All the files including the files it uses to open it up.
I've tried coping the files , Ive tried formating , Ive tried running scandisk on it. Ihave done everthing I can think of nothing works. Still the same i/o device error. if you have anything please help. Thanks
mp3 what? mp3 by itself is just a file type, not hardware. This a player? iPod, what? How did you delete the files? The system files would not be stored on the data storage part where the music is held.
