Coolmaster 212+ or Corsair A50

Hi!

I am thinking about buying a heatsink and I don't know which one to choose.

There is a few deals on NCIX right now and I saw the following deals:
Coolmaster Hyper 212+ - 24.99$ - http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=41337&vpn=RR-B10-212P-G1&manufacture=COOLERMASTER&promoid=1371
Corsair A50 - 19.99$ - http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=53611&vpn=CAFA50&manufacture=Corsair&promoid=1371

Which one will give me the best performance?

My system is a i5 2500k, 8 GB RAM, P8Z68-V, Antec 620W gamer, and everything in a Antec 300 case. I do not overclock.

Which one should I buy? Should I keep the thermal paste that comes with it as well?

Thanks!

  1. The hyper 212+ is the best option of those two. The TIM that comes with it is good for get low temps at idle and load.
  2. 212
  3. lol I just posted a thread on this. Fail on not reading first :)
  4. saul good, there are tons of questions involving the 212+ and cpus in the OC sections. like 30% of them. a random repeat here or there in this section aint gonna kill anyone.
