I've been using a Corsair 620hx power supply for the past year and have been very happy with it. However, I recently took advantage of a deal from Newegg that included a Thermaltake W0106RU (700w). Which one should I keep?

Both PSUs can run my current system without a problem, but if the Thermaltake has greater upgrade potential for the future, I might consider switching now. I know that the 620hx is underrated, so there might not be a big difference between the two PSUs, but any insight or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Difference on the actual combined total for the 12 volt rails is only 2 amps more for the Thermaltake. I did manage to find two technical reviews for the Thermaltake Toughpower Cable Management 700 watt power supply (It's usually the larger 750 watt unit that gets reviewed). Both reviews were very positive. It appears to be a capable unit.

My personal preference is for the Corsair HX620 mainly because I have been using the same model for over three years now. Every time I build a new pc I recycle my Corsair psu. Never had a problem.
