Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

It's not bad for my money at the moment (and it doesn't cost any) the best is Microsoft Security Essentials. Because it's always M$'s software that gets attacked, they get to know the threats before any of the others and update their product accordingly.

I use Comodo Internet Security... which is also free.

I've used avast since it's original release and have only had one virus, which i installed myself through stupidity ha ha. but avast is very good, we install it on our systems we sell in our store.
