Finally someone stepped up to the plate with a cooling solution much needed for the toasty 4870....... Is a card that takes up 3 slots really worth it? Would x-fire be out of the question? Is this just another power-color fluke with a high end cooler?

I think you may mean the accelero Xtreme for the 4870x2...that's the only 3 slot cooler that I know of. Besdies the Asus Tri-fan which I think is also for the x2.

Ah, wow I've never seen one of those before, it honestly looks like a fake. In any case, why would a single 4870 need that kind of aftermarket cooling ? Might as well do watercooling.
