840.52$

This is my build. I think I have all my bases covered. Could you guys give me some feedback, and let me know if I'm going to have any issues with stuff working correctly together.

850$ is allot for me, so I need to be sure this is solid and will all work together before I purchase.

Thanks in advance for every ones input

PS: If there are any parts you would recommend that would be better / cheaper and so forth, let me know.

To better help on parts & cost reduction, I have two questions:
1) monitor resolution
2) plans to crossfire?

Hmm ... honestly unsure on monitor resolution. I haven't been able to REALLY play PC games in any way decent since...... well probably Half Life .... maybe the first WOW game. I'm finally over drama in my life, and am going to treat myself.

Yes I do plan on cross-firing down the line. Potentially try OC'ing. It will be my little mini project.

hey i have three suggestions:
1) OCZ makes great PSUs but if you would like to CF another 4890 later on I would switch to the corsair 750tx.
2) On the case, for the price get the Coolermaster 690. Same price and a much better case IMO. Others here on the forums will recommend it too for the price.
3)You do not need 8gb of memory unless you are doing hardcore apps that require 8gb, otherwise it is wasted money.

Hope these suggestions help and good luck!

Is your monitor a 19", 21", 24"... etc. from there I can get an idea on res. Reason I ask to see if the 4890 might be overkill.

I would look at either of these cases from Newegg. They are better cases IMO
- Cooler Master RC690
- Antec 300 Illuimination (I believe is the name... it is the one with the three extra fans installed)

Good catch on the RAM! I missed it :(

I agree on the PSU but I'm not sure or not if the 4890 might be over kill depending on the OP's res.

Yea that is true Tecmo! another suggestion: if you have a monitor that is less than 1680x 1050 resolution go with a 4850. They are around $100 and are a great bargain for the performance you get!

Good luck

Wow! I went away from my keyboard for "Burn Notice" and came back to all kinds of feedback. This is fantastic. Give me a min to assimilate it all and do some research. But I'm gonna take all these things to mind. I'll re post once I've done so.

OK : Poked around a bit. Here is what I've come up with. Taking some of your advice a bit......

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6822136320 = WD Black 500gb 69.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814102826 = Saphire Vapor - X 4870 2gb 194.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820227341 = OCZ Intel Extreme Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) 1600 (PC3 12800)
OCZ Intel Extreme Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) = 79.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Comb [...] mbo.216222 PSU + Case = 179.90
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Comb [...] mbo.212581 CPU / MOBO 319.99

$865.54 W/ Shipping

Here are my thoughts :

Case + Power Supply combo sounds like a realy good deal for that case.
Ram = Less as suggested
Gcard = Dropped down to 4870 , but added 1gb for less money.
Lost Cooler since new case seems like it will be good for now, when new Gcard gets added, will add cooler?

Ok Feedback time . Hope I did well :)

Oh, monitor will be 21''-22''.

I think you are now good to go. I like your Case/PSU combo...

Just a thought for you... Drop the 4870 2GB for just the 1GB to save money (won't see much difference) or spend the $194.99 on the XFX 4890 GPU. Either option is better for the money... IMO.
