Looking to build a new 3d graphic computer. Just needing your advice on the hardware set up and if it can work well and fast with the programs being used on computer, Photoshop, Premiere pro, Atlantis, Archicad and Maya.

Motherboard: ASUS P6T7 WS SuperComputer


RAM: Kingston HyperX Triple Channel Kit - memory - 6 GB ( 3 x 2 GB ) - DIMM 240-pin - DDR3


Video Card: QUADRO FX 3800

Hard Drive (system drive):
Seagate Cheetah 15K.5 - 3.5 300GB Ultra320 SCSI Hard Drive, 80Pin, 15000rpm, 16MB Cache

Hard Drive (data drive): 2x Seagate 1TB SATA 7200rpm HDD


CD/DVD: PIONEER DUAL LAYER DVD Burner

Your video card is overkill. A 550W should be enough, and the brand should be CORSAIR (my opinion).

Also, I've used Maya in college. Those rendered frames can take up a lot of space! Consider adding a 500GB to your setup. Also, can't you just get a cheaper X58 motherboard? That Supercomputer will kill your budget!
