My dvd/cd-rom rw wont read anything at all now its like all the divers are gone its an HP DVD Writer 400 i can anyone PLEASE HELP ME?

What operating system are you using? I believe XP, Vista and 7 will be able to use the default drivers for this DVD drive.

The drive might be just be bust. How long have you had it for?

Yes I think Rusting is on the right track. It could well be hardware failure.
