4870 or 4890

Hello.
I want to buy new graphic card, but donkt know whitch to buy, XFX 1GB 4870 or 4890. I red in the forums lots of info, but still cant decide. I play at 17 monitor, i would like to play red faction guerila and Battlefield bad company i think that with 4870 it will run fine, but maybe with 4890 much better ? I dont think that i will owerclock it so maybe 4870 would be fine, or i should buy 4890 ?
Looks like thees two cards tempriture is same at idle and loaded or not ?
Is it worth to buy 4890 it gives only 6-10 fps more that 4870, but maybe on other newest games it would be better ?

17" monitor = 1440x900 resolution? Something like that?

Either should be more than enough (under the assumption the rest of your specs can keep up) at such low resolutions.

Its 1280x1024.
4890 costs 40EUR more than 4890. But is it worth it on sutch resoliution ?

The 4870 is more than enough for a 17" monitor regardless of the resolution you play at... If you are going to upgrade the monitor and your hardware is up to date then a 4890 would be a better choice.... If this is not the case then get a 4870 you will be fine......

Agreed, you won't see the benefit of the 4890 at such a low resolution.
