Hi, I have an Nvidia 8800GT AMP! Edition from Zotac. After a couple hours more of solid use (gaming) my monitor will turn black and I will be told that the Nvxxx display driver has stopped responding. Using rivatuner I can see that my card goes to around 70 degrees Celsius before doing this.

My case has an 80mm top fan, 120mm front fan, 120mm rear fan. 80mm bottom fan, and the Heatsink is a Scythe Mugen 2 (my processor is overclocked to 4.05ghz stable on air).

The video card fan points down, and about 4 inchs down my case fan blows up- is that a problem? Could air be stuck there? Do I just need to clean out the video card with compressed air?

Thoughts?

Best,
Brian

70 is totaly exceptable for a vid card...

I think the problem lies here... "Nvxxx display driver has stopped responding"

Remove your drivers and reinstall the latest/greatest.
