Hi!

Hope you can help. I recently switched on PC and found I've lost a couple of partitions and also missing is about 500gb! Trying various partition recovery programmes but so far to no avail. I'm not sure of one of my drives has gone but I'm pretty sure it hasn't. It's supposed to be 1TB over two 500GB HDDs. Any help, support or advice would be very welcome. Thank you and all the best.

Do all of your drives show up in disk management and do they all pass smart tests?

I had the same thing happen to me a few months ago system saw only the primary partition and nothing else, wound up fdisk / mbr and formatting and then restoring from my ghost image, now then if you are not using some kind of disk imaging program the only thing that I can suggest is to reinstall right over existing from within the OS , at some point you should be given the option to repair installation ,it will take as long as a complete install, works with XP all the time..:)
