Hi I am having a major problem with stuttering was advised to buy add RAB and di that, then had a new sound card Xtreme sound 5.1 and it's drivers installed but still have same problem. I have an HP Pavillion AMD Athlon, 64 processor 3200+ 1.99 GHz, 1.43 GB of RAM. I had these installed at Staples and they said it wasn't a motherboard problem. What else can I try? PS I am computer illiterate so please speak in plain terms. Thanks

First, make sure you have the correct drivers installed. Second, it sounds like your CPU is too weak to handle the sound card?
