And I was thinking of swapping that with a motherboard bundle like this

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=341462

Basically what im asking is would it be ok to do this? Any compatibility issues? Or any other issues that could happen regarding the swap. If you guys could help that'll be great!

More about motherboard swap
  1. You have an hp motherboard, so the motherboard bios may be tied to the windows installation. If you have a non hp coa sticker, you can use that with the new board. Otherwise, with a format, you may not be able to use an hp windows backup cd.
