Iomega hard drive beeping

Hello,
My 500gb Iomega hard drive beeps when I connects to PC. It also affects other programs running on PC like browser etc. I cannot transfer any data into this HD. Once I unplug this HD other PC programs run fine. How can I fix this problem? It is still In Warranty. thanks very much for any
