Lg writer no disc in drive

windows XP SP3 LG DVD Writer error " No Disc in drive " can anyone Help,
Windows will not let me change drive letter...

If you are saying that the drive is not recognising a blank disk, it could be that the particular brand of disk is not recognised by the drive. Try updating the firmware to the latest from the LG website.
