I reformatted my computer and reinstalled windows xp and now I have no sound. I reinstalled MB drivers and updates, the audio devide (Realtek HD) is enabled and shows as working in device manager, but when I went to BIOS to check if it's enabled there, I couldn't find it listed. Any advice on what's I need to do?

If you see it in Device Mangler, it's there. Have you looked in your MoBo manual to find out where it's located in the BIOS. All manufacturers have downloadable manuals on their web sites.
