Printer not working

Hello,
i have a HP Deskjet D1460 printer
my printer is blinking continously.
i have given the commands for print but it is not printing any page.
it is not rolling the page also
and i am trying to switch off the blinking light also but still it is not switch offing also.
i am not getting any printout
what is the reason for it

Have you read the "Troubleshooting" section in your printer manual? It lists possible causes of a flashing power light and suggests solutions. Most likely is a paper jam.
