This should be your first stop.

Shadow's Gigabyte motherboard OC guide:

It's for an EP35-DS3L but all the Gigabyte Core2 BIOS's are similar. You will just have fewer adjustable settings.

Go through the guides. Then take your core voltage off Auto and set your memory voltage to factory recommended values. Change the System Memory Multiplier from AUTO to 2.00. Then when you increase the FSB, the memory clock will rise in in proportion with it. At an FSB of 266 MHz, your memory clock should be at 533 MHz.

Keep your load temps under 70 C and don't exceed 1.45 volts core voltage.

thanks Buddy but i got g41mt s2 ddr3 mobo + 2x2gb 1333mhz strontium ddr3 evm ram..so now its different from es2l..help me out if you wish..thanks again :p
Also the bios is awar v6 pg or something and its kinda awkard..the mem mult is also weird type..like A___xxx
B___xxx etc etc
Although i have oc it to 3.00ghz ram speed is at 1200 rather 1333mhz(note native ram speed is 1333 but mobo supports 1333 in oc mode{refer to gigabyte website}).i find it risky to manually set volage so kept them auto..and they are usually<1.14 volts at present while i am typing.am i wrong..if so then suggest me what to do :hello:
