Why?? Is My BluRay Drive showing as a CD-ROM

Hi,
Can anyone HELP as my ASUS BluRay drive on my desktop turned into aCD-ROM drive and will not show DVD's and I don't know what to do... How do I fix this???? Or is it a VIRUS Thats causing this???

Is it not playing dvd's at all?

If it is playing DvD's just ignore the cd-rom issue. It's a windows fluke. If not playing DvD's try reinstalling the driver in control panel > System > Device manager > Dvd/Cd-Rom drives, right click the drive, uninstall, right click the name of the computer on the top of the device list click on scan for hardware changes, let it reinstall the dvd drive when asked...

Went into device manager and did all that but then it disapeared all together and didn't come back after I rebooted. and I couldn't see hide nor hair of the drive.
